This service is not entirely new; it is a resumption of flights previously offered by the airline. Frontier first launched flights between the two cities in May 2022.

The New Frontier Tampa to Cancun Flights

Flights between Tampa and Cancun are available four days a week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

Each day, the airline will operate one flight each way, with departures from Tampa scheduled between 6:00 and 7:00 AM and departures from Cancun between 8:30 and 9:30 AM. The flight duration is approximately two hours each way.
